The widely used 1350 series from PTR is now also available in an SMD version. The upright (V) and horizontal (H) versions can therefore be placed without having to leave space at the bottom of the PCB, which can simplify the design of the PCB. Both versions are supplied in Tape & Reel with a Pick & Place pad and can of course be soldered with reflow. The horizontal version has a holder on the Pick & Place pad with which the connector remains horizontally positioned during assembly. The well-known AK1350 cable parts fit on these new SMD PCB parts, which makes a migration from Trough Hole to SMD Reflow easy.
The 1350 series is applicable up to 125VAC/10A and has a breakdown voltage of 2.5 kW. Both SMD versions are available from 2 to 11 poles.
