Safe car tires, the color of paper money when the light changes, durable carbon black, toothpaste, abrasives, certain food products and excellent (water-based) latex paints; these could not have been developed without the help of particle analysis instruments, which are able to really measure even the smallest (nano) particles. Marc Steinmetz of Inventech Benelux wrote a white paper about it, describing various possible applications: from biological and pharmaceutical, to polymer dispersions, car tires and minerals.
