Digital Building of the Future: innovation for a smart and sustainable built environment
On Wednesday, June 3, the world of smart building automation will come together at AFAS in Leusden. During the conference Digital Building of the Future (DGT) you will discover how digitalization, data and technological innovation are changing the built environment.
This year we once again have a lecture program with presentations by Frits van der Weerd of InHolland University of Applied Sciences, among others. Pieter Mars, director family office at AFAS, explains how sustainable construction and collaboration come together in a campus for current and future generations.
In addition to the substantive program, DGT offers an exhibition floor where exhibitors present the latest solutions and technologies in the field of building automation, digitalization, and sustainable technology.
What to expect
Digital Building of the Future presents a current and varied program. Themes that will define the built environment of tomorrow are central:
- Sustainability and energy efficiency in smart buildings
- Digitalization and data-driven building management
- Healthy, comfortable and safe working environments
- Legislation and regulations in a rapidly changing technological landscape
- Concrete solutions for issues within real estate and facility management
Unique location
We'll meet at the AFAS Experience Center. This complex is known for its innovative architecture and advanced ICT infrastructure. All buildings are BREEAM-certified and utilize environmentally friendly, circular materials.
According to Xandra Duiveman of FHI, the event organizer, the location perfectly aligns with the event's objectives. "It's an inspiring environment for anyone involved in the digital buildings of the future. You'll see firsthand how innovative technologies contribute to improved building performance and occupants."“
