The new Electrak®MD actuators are smart electric linear actuators with excellent power density and resistance to the toughest conditions.

Designed as a smaller family member of the popular Electrak HD actuator, the new Electrak MD smart electric linear actuators deliver high power for their compact size, performing relentlessly and maintenance-free under the most difficult conditions. The actuator has a groundbreaking power density. The unit can handle a working load of up to 2000 N (450 lbs), making it the ideal choice to replace both hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders in many cases.

• PLC controllability. Integrated control systems open the way to many possibilities, including CAN bus options and low-level switching with or without position sensor.
• Industry-leading reliability. >25% longer life than competitive models (under full 1 kN load, 300 mm model).
• Enviably strong. >10% higher power density than the competition (in the 1 kN model).

Applications – Smart Logistics

Electrak® MD actuators are ideal for electrifying mobile, low-power, space-constrained applications such as AGVs and logistics trains where larger actuators are difficult to use and pneumatics or hydraulics are nearly impossible. Electrak MD also fits well into equipment used to control material flow or to fill/unfill machinery or storage areas.
