Parker Chomerics has a series of conductive elastomers with a dual functionality. Where standard seals provide either an environmental seal against moisture, dust and dirt or an electrically conductive seal, Parker Chomerics has incorporated both functions into one seal.
These flexible seals are used for reclosable openings such as doors, hatches and filler openings. The field of application is mainly defense equipment in military vehicles, ships and aircraft, in space travel but also critical filler openings within the industry.
These elastomers are provided with a conductive and non-conductive element which are simultaneously hardened and thus realize the best seal with a low closing force. They are available in corrosion-resistant and fireproof qualities, provide an EMC / EMP seal and close airtight.
Chomerics offers these co-extruded seals in numerous standard versions, but also in small quantities in customer-specific shapes.
