Solar-powered electric family car: Lightyear One

The lecture program of the Machine Construction event is particularly extensive this year. One of the plenary presentations is provided by electric automaker Lightyear. Wim van Stratum, VP Operations at Lightyear, explains the entire process – from concept to production – to build the world's first long-distance private solar car. How is the development of this solar-powered electric family car progressing?
