Eurocircuits invests in Europe!

2019, Eurocircuits invests €5M in PCB production & assembly and in software to improve and accelerate the DFM Visualizer tools.

Since Eurocircuits was founded in May 1991, it was clear to owners Luc and Dirk that continued investment was the key to the success of their company.

Since then they have invested in all areas of the business, from new factories, production and testing equipment, internal software development, customer support and people.

The 2019 investment level is €5M, something that both Luc and Dirk are very enthusiastic about.

Why invest so much?

The answer is simple. To meet the demands of our customers.

But there's more than that, our customers need increasingly faster deliveries of their prototypes and small series PCBs to meet their Time-to-Market challenges.

For example, this year we have reduced our standard delivery from 7 to 3 working days for our PCB Proto service to meet customer requirements. We have also introduced our 3+3 service, with prototype PCBs where we manufacture the PCB in 3 days and then assemble it in 3 days.

And these new and improved services are only possible with the current level of investment.

Where have we invested?

A large part of the investment was to improve and expand our assembly service.

We have also invested in our PCB manufacturing and software development to improve and accelerate the DFM process and Visualizer tools.

Why such a large investment in assembly?

About 2 years ago, Eurocircuits introduced the assembly service for prototypes & small series in response to the demand of our customers and the market.

Our customers basically said “OK, we have been ordering PCBs from you for years, but we have an increasing need for the assembly of these PCB prototypes and can hardly find an offer for this in the market” and that is why we introduced the assembly service.

Since then, the demand for this has increased significantly and we already knew in 2018 that a major investment would be needed to meet this ever-increasing demand.

In 2019 (Jan-Oct), our assembly service already processed more than 3,500 orders from more than 1,100 customers, compared to 1,700 orders from 670 customers for all of 2018.

We are ready for you! Are you ready too?
