FHI Gebouw Automatisering signs digiAgreement for far-reaching digitalization in the sector
The FHI Building Automation sector has joined the digiGO platform by signing the new agreement digiAgreement until 2030. FHI director Paul Petersen signed on behalf of the trade association. A total of 61 parties in the design, construction and technology sector signed the digiAgreement. The agreement aims to accelerate digitalization and achieve chain optimization.
The signing took place during the Chain Standard Construction and Technology Congress 2023 in Nijkerk. To achieve the desired acceleration, use can be made of the so-called digiDeals. According to digiGO, these are tangible projects from companies, knowledge institutions and governments that are about exchanging more data, improving the quality of this data, about trust and close cooperation throughout the entire chain.
According to the participating parties, the need for further cooperation in the Built Environment has only grown due to enormous tasks such as the energy transition, climate adaptation, scaling up housing construction and infrastructure replacement. Moreover, the desire is to tackle these challenges with as few emissions as possible and in a circular manner. And that with increasingly scarce staff, less time and higher costs. Accelerated digitalization and data-driven chain collaboration are seen as hard preconditions.
Members of the FHI Building Automation sector will soon receive an invitation to be updated about digiGO and to discuss which projects can be taken up in collaboration with partners within the digiGO platform.
