We proudly look back on our very first participation in the VSK+E trade fair in Utrecht, with our own FHI pavilion. What began last year as an ambitious idea from our members – to create a central location at VSKE+E focused on building automation – has grown into a vibrant meeting place with innovative stands, a presentation area, and a welcoming bar.

The sector presented itself at the pavilion as one strong, innovative community. Xandra Duiveman was closely involved in the organization on behalf of FHI. “The pavilion brings together the full breadth of building automation: from energy management to machine learning and from smart sensors to maintenance management. This way, visitors experience how the different disciplines reinforce each other."”

The banners and striking purple pillars attracted the attention of curious passersby. Networking was also plentiful at the stands. Exhibitor Lars Wiersma, Key Account Manager at Barcol-Air, had many positive conversations: "It's going really well. The stand has been busy all week, but Thursday has been our biggest day so far."“

Visitors who wanted to brush up on their knowledge could attend presentations on current topics such as cybersecurity and GACS. live Demonstrations and activities attracted a lot of attention, especially the pinball machine and the 'jeans'contest”" were popular with a young audience. At the exhibitors' reception on Thursday evening, people even hit the dance floor.
