EURO-INDEX introduces two new cable locators with the Fluke 2052 and 2062. These instruments are suitable for mapping an electrical installation, finding cable breaks and short circuits and identifying fuses, circuit breakers and circuit breakers.
Both models consist of a receiver and a powerful transmitter for finding and tracking live and de-energized cables in walls, floors and ceilings. Due to the safety category CAT IV 600 V, these cable locators are not only suitable for residential applications, but also for use in utilities, infrastructure and industrial installations. The measured signal strength is displayed with a number (numeric), a bar graph and an acoustic signal. If there is no possibility to make physical contact with a conductor to connect the signal, the sets are equipped with the Fluke i400 AC current clamp, which allows the signal to be induced on a cable.
The difference between both models is the use of a Patented Smart Sensor in model 2062. This makes it possible to display not only the location, but also the direction of a conductor on the high-resolution color screen, so you don't have to guess. where the cable runs.
