After the press conference by Minister Ernst Kuipers on Tuesday, February 15, not only did the Netherlands open again, but we also saw enormous interest in WoTS 2022. After two years of pandemic, a physical visit to a trade fair will be possible again and so from now on we will focus on on the visitor: with approx 350 registered exhibitors and seminars that address current megatrends. Experts speak about nuclear energy and the safe approach to nuclear power plants. Great efforts are being made to transfer knowledge on themes such as hydrogen, food production safety and cyber security.

To generate general attention for WoTS 2022, we are organizing seminars on robotics, speaking to various Covid experts, discussing the electronics supply chain and discussing a safe approach to nuclear power plants. In these seminars, experts provide a rational, technical or scientific story on themes that are currently very topical. With this content, the organization already expects great interest from visitors.

Naturally, specialist knowledge from the sectors is also discussed. For example, hydrogen is expected to play a major role within the energy transition. Many exhibitors will contribute to the technical hydrogen solutions of the near future. That expertise is shown on a Hydrogen platform and presented in a seminar. The platform focuses on innovations for the production, distribution and application of (green) hydrogen.

The enthusiasm of exhibitors, speakers and organization is great to offer the many visitors options for current challenges with the available expertise.

The corona pandemic has caused uncertainty in the trade fair process for two years. That is why the current layout was drawn up more quickly than usual, to give companies that still want to participate the opportunity to choose a nice spot on the map earlier.

If you have any questions about the current options, please ask Willemijn de Groot.
