SmartBox

Gepro has developed the hardware and software for the SmartBox. A smart box that transforms an ordinary vehicle into a vehicle that can be managed remotely in no time.   

• CE certified: the box is fire, shock and vibration resistant. 
• Track & trace: the box provides the location data and mileage registration of the vehicle. It is also FOTA on board.
• The SmartBox reads data from the vehicle via both OBD-II and CANbus. This dual configuration ensures that the user always has the most relevant and accurate information from the vehicle.

Always in control

The SmartBox is the most essential part of Vecore's mobility solution. The most important question in car sharing is: who is responsible for the condition of the vehicle? How do you, as the owner, keep control? The user can use the box via the management software to see what condition the vehicles are in, whether there are any malfunctions, how much fuel is in the tank and where the car is at that moment.

Convenience above all

User convenience is paramount. That is why the user has two ways to access the cars: via the app (Bluetooth 4.0) or via the smart card (RFID/NFC). Thanks to these smart solutions, people can easily get in with or without a smartphone. Even if you are in a parking garage without GPRS coverage, the car can be opened.
