EPE – The Quick Connect Shut-Off Valve 700 is the first all-plastic quick-connect valve for Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC) systems. This patented double ball valve makes the coolant path to the chip safer and more efficient.

Connect server racks safely and easily

The Quick Connect Shut-Off Valve 700 combines two compact PVDF ball valves that, thanks to their patented double locking mechanism, can only be disconnected when both sides are fully closed. This allows IT racks to be safely and easily connected to the coolant distribution unit (CDU) without the risk of leakage. This also applies, of course, to disconnecting IT racks for maintenance of the cooling system.

Designed for high-performance data centers

With the growing demand for high-density data centers, Direct Liquid Cooling is increasingly being used as an alternative to air cooling. Moreover, by delivering coolant directly to the chip, thermal efficiency improves significantly, resulting in lower energy consumption and therefore lower operating costs.

At the same time, using liquids in close proximity to valuable server hardware poses additional risks. This makes it even more important to be able to rely on reliable and leak-free piping components.

Lighter, safer and more sustainable

The Quick Connect Valve 700 is more than twice as light as conventional metal alternatives and offers improved flow thanks to its straight orifice. Constructed of corrosion-resistant high-performance polymers, the valve boasts a UL 94 V-0 fire safety classification and a minimum service life of 25 years. Furthermore, the product comes with an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) in accordance with ISO 14025 and EN 15804, clearly demonstrating its environmental impact.
