Han-INOX® stainless steel housings protect against corrosion and aggressive substances
The Han-INOX connector series® with stainless steel housings is now fully available in Han® B format. The corresponding bulkhead-mounted housings and hoods, with top or side cable entry and with protective cover, are available in sizes Han® 6 B to 24 B.
This positions HARTING as the only manufacturer to supply a complete range of connectors in stainless steel housings, ranging from sizes Han 3 A to Han® ® 24 B. This makes it possible to realize sensor applications or connect machines to the power grid – even in severe corrosive or caustic environmental conditions.
The use of Han-INOX® is sustainable: thanks to the durability of the housing material, the connectors are reliable partners that can withstand adverse and harsh operating conditions. The installation dimensions of the existing Han® B and Han® 3 A sizes facilitate upgrading installations to the most robust industrial connectors. Full compatibility with the inserts of the Han and Han-Modular series®® allows users to retain the necessary flexibility, for example for combinations with existing machine modules.
Han-INOX® is predestined for applications in the food and beverage industry, such as in scenarios with packaging machines, for example. In addition, there is often a demand for stainless steel connectors in the energy sector. Furthermore, their strengths are advantageous in scenarios involving new hydrogen-based generation technologies. The series also offers elegant solutions for transferring larger machines from “typical” industrial environments to tougher, more demanding environmental conditions.
