For many years, the D-Sub (also known as the D-subminiature connector) has offered a trusted solution for bus signals in industrial applications. The D-sub is available in more numbers of pins, variants, housings, contacts and versions than any other industrial connector. HARTING has been the leading supplier of D-Sub connectivity for industrial environments for decades.
Being in the automation industry D sub the standard connectors for data, signal and service/programming interfaces. With HARTING's extensive product range, all industry-standard D-sub interfaces, such as for fieldbuses (PROFIBUS, CanOpen and DeviceNet), can be set up, while the connectors are also available in optional plastic and metal housings with IP 20 and IP 65 / IP 67 protection.
HARTING has added a complete series of rectangular D-Sub SMT connectors to its range. This series allows customers to use both the reflow process and standard vacuum pick-and-place systems. The design has been optimized for reliable processing and a long service life.
HARTING offers a range of male and female SMT connectors from 9 to 37 pin in right angle (standard and low profile) and straight style. In addition to performance level 3, 2 and 1 on request, several options are available: rear nuts or fixed female screw connections in M3 and 4-40 UNC thread.
