Hummel expands M23 hybrid connector range

Hummel has added an interesting type 2 (4+4+4+PE) version with 4 power contacts to its M23 hybrid connector range. This new connector is suitable for DC and can therefore also be used in DC networks. The four Ethernet contacts transmit data at up to 500 Mbit/s with a load capacity of up to 28 A / 630 V. The new type 2 hybrid connector completes the Hummel M23 type 1 range with the following contact combinations:

     – Type 1 (2 Ethernet +4 Signal +3 Power +PE)

     – Type 1 (4 Ethernet +4 Signal +3 Power +PE)

     – Type 1 (6 Ethernet +4 Signal +3 Power +PE)

An additional asset that Hummel offers with its M23 hybrid range is the high degree of flexibility to fully assemble the connector according to the customer's needs:

• The hybrid inserts are suitable for multiple housing types
• The modular design offers many variations
• A screw or quick lock locking is possible
