When serially mounting solid-state relays in a device or in a configuration with many solid-state relays in a control cabinet, installation speed is a key criterion. Celduc has developed solid-state relays with faston connections specifically for this purpose, eliminating the need for screws. In this case, the wiring can be predetermined to the desired length, implemented with faston connections, and installed quickly and easily.
According to IEC62314, the faston connections may carry 15A for 4.8mm type and 25A for 6.3mm types, depending on their design.
Celduc Relays offers single and two-phase versions and even a four-way solid state relay with faston connection.
The package includes, among other things, the following relays with fastons:
- SF5 a miniature relay
- EMC optimized SCFL relays for integration into household appliances,
- conventional hockey puck SCF relay,
- double SOB
- four-point switching SCQ relay.
The use of faston connections is typical for industrial control cabinets for the individual control of multiple heating zones or for serial production of household appliances such as air heaters, hot plates, and coffee machines.
