Digitalization and networking do not stop with the energy sector. With the RevPi Flat, Helmholz Benelux presents a new, intelligent IoT gateway, based on the Raspberry Pi 3+ Compute Module and Linux. The freely programmable module convinces with its real industrial properties and a large number of interfaces.

It opens up new, cost-effective and flexibly adaptable application areas, especially for the energy sector.

The RevPi Flat impresses with its compact and flat design with two separate Ethernet interfaces and 8 GB of internal eMMC flash memory. In addition, the device has two RS485 and two USB 2.0 interfaces and, in addition to an analog input, it is also equipped with a digital and an analog output.

Furthermore, a TPM (Trusted Platform Module) with extensive security functions is integrated into the RevPi Flat, which provides data protection, secure storage processes and protection against external software and hardware attacks.

The module supports communication via Wireless M-Bus and is Bluetooth and WiFi compatible. The operating system is a custom, pre-installed Raspbian with real-time patch. Thanks to the open platform concept (including full root rights), the RevPi Flat guarantees maximum design freedom.

Individual applications can be easily programmed and enable the implementation of a wide variety of projects. For example, setting up a modern, decentralized energy management system or optimizing existing processes.

This makes it possible to record energy-specific values, display process-relevant data and manage master data and maintenance logs. Photovoltaic, wind and solar power plants can be controlled and monitored, ensuring a smooth workflow. A wide range of applications are also possible in the field of e-mobility.
