The EE100Ex intrinsically safe sensor reliably measures relative humidity and temperature in explosion hazardous areas. The sensor meets the European ATEX and International IECEx classifications for applications up to Zone1.

Measure performance:
The transmitter has a very robust measuring sensor, whereby the sensor and electronics in the probe are maximally protected against harmful influences.
The EE100Ex measures accurately over the entire humidity range of 0-100% in a temperature range of
 -40…60oC.

Reliable in challenging environments:
The complete transmitter can be installed in explosion hazardous areas.
Thanks in part to the robust IP65 housing and the choice of the right filter for the environment, the sensor operates reliably in challenging applications such as tunnels, explosion-hazardous storage areas and pharmaceutical industries.

Power and signal outputs:
The sensor can be powered using an intrinsically safe power supply or by means of
zener barriers.
In addition to measuring relative humidity and temperature, the EE100Ex also calculates derived moisture parameters such as Dew Point (Td) and Frost Point (Tf) temperature.

The measured data is available via two galvanically isolated 4…20mA, 2-wire outputs.
