The new Tiger XT series from Ion Science consists of 3 portable VOC monitors.
This new range retains all the market-leading benefits of its predecessors, including the use of PID sensors with the patented fence electrode technology. These sensors are suitable for detection of virtually all VOCs with unprecedented accuracy, reproducibility and linearity, where the influence of moisture hardly plays a role. The energy management of the Tiger XT series has been improved. The charger, which can be mounted on the wall, charges the Li-Ion battery in approximately 8 hours, which is good for approximately 24 hours of normal use. The Tiger XT can be equipped with a 10.6 eV lamp or an 11.7 eV lamp for detection of gases from just 1 ppb, with a measuring range up to 20,000 ppm.
The Tiger Select (XTS) uses a 10 eV lamp for detection of PAHs and aromatics, such as benzene, toluene and xylene. If aromatics are detected, a benzene pre-filter tube can be placed. This tube eliminates all aromatics except benzene, providing an accurate and specific measurement of benzene. The Tiger XT(S) can optionally be equipped with H&S mode, which enables the instrument to calculate and display STEL and TWA values. A special data logging mode for recording up to 120,000 measured values is also possible.
