The SHR series from ISEG is a precision DC high-voltage power supply, mainly for laboratory use. This high-voltage power supply is characterized by a remarkably high precision in both generation and measurement (such a power supply is also called SMU – Source Measuring Unit). Application of the latest ISEG high-voltage technology guarantees minimal ripple and noise values.

This SHR series is available with 2 or 4, individually adjustable channels with reversible polarity. There is a choice of a 0-2kV/6mA channel or a flexible 0-6kV channel. The latter offers maximum flexibility with three electronically switchable HV ranges. The power supply can be switched in a 2kV, 4kV and 6kV voltage range with a 4mA, 3mA and 2mA current range respectively.

In addition to the standard version, a high-precision version is also possible. The voltage is adjustable per mV and the current is adjustable per 100nA. In the high precision model there is even a second current range (20µA) with a resolution of 50pA.

Naturally, a number of protections are provided, such as short-circuit protection, overload, a safety switching circuit and adjustable maximum voltage and current.

To adjust this high-voltage power supply, the SHR series is equipped with a 4.3″ TFT touch screen on which detailed information is displayed. All extensive functions such as logging, graphic display and customer specific plugins are also available through the precise jog wheel and buttons. Remote control is possible via the standard Ethernet and USB interfaces.

APPLICATIONS

Applications for these power supplies include Lithography, Plasma research, Mass Spectrometers, Cyclotron power supplies and Medical applications. The SHR certainly has a place within fundamental research organizations, including university laboratories and research institutes.
