With the BlueBox MicroIA, Idtronic has added a versatile small UHF RFID reader to the package. The MicroIA has a power of 500mW and with the integrated antenna a reading distance of up to 3 meters can be achieved with steps of 1dB. Due to the small dimensions of 120x120mm, the IP65 classification and the 10-36Vdc power supply, the reader can be easily integrated on, for example, a forklift truck.
The data interface is RS232 or RS485 and on CANbus (SAE J1939 or CANopen) on request.
The reader can be supplied with ETSI or FCC frequency.
The connection is a 5-pin A-code M12 connector for both power and the serial interface.
An SDK is freely available.
