With the M5, Amphenol LTW has developed the smallest and lightest connectors in the M-series. The connector with a diameter of only 5 mm, is aimed at applications where reliable signal and data transmission is required, but where space is limited or where miniaturization is desired.
These threaded connectors are certified according to IEC 61076-2-105 and available as:
- chassis part
- connector fitted with cable, straight or angled
- pin number 3 and 4; UHD variants to follow
- protection, IP67-IP69
- voltage 60V (AC/DC)
- current 1A (DC)
Typical applications include connecting sensor systems in industrial automation, interfacing in vehicles, electrical connections in medical equipment, etc.
