Brief economic corona news from October 14

- The RIVM reports 7,305 new corona infections on Wednesday, a slight decrease compared to Tuesday. A total of 1,475 corona patients are in hospital, including 301 in intensive care. NOS reports.
- The GGDs want to increase the testing capacity to 80,000 tests per day by the end of this year, according to writes the AD. By the end of November the capacity should already be 60,000, compared to approximately 43,000 currently.
- Minister Hugo de Jonge of Health is examining whether a quarantine obligation can be imposed for people infected with the coronavirus. Infected people who still go outside risk a fine.
