- The RIVM reported 15,804 new positive corona tests on Wednesday, 6,622 more than on Tuesday. The increase is largely due to a disruption.
- Outgoing Minister Hugo de Jonge (Public Health, CDA) wants to introduce 2G in the Netherlands as soon as the opportunity presents itself. According to De Jonge, 2G is necessary to ensure that the lockdown does not last longer than strictly necessary writes NRC.
