The HF Mid-Range M500 is a new, compact, powerful RFID reader/writer designed as an OEM module. The module has an on-board SMA antenna connection for various HF antennas.
As soon as the module registers an ISO15693 RFID tag, the UID is automatically made available on the serial port. Additional commands for reading and writing the tags use the DESFire communication protocol.
This module can be set to read-in mode or Idle mode with a switch or software.
The M500 module, for example, is suitable for automated processes such as robot arms and conveyor belts. For communication, the module is available with RS232 or TTL interface.
