Moons industries has developed a number of very thin stepper motors for applications where space is very limited. Based on the well-known hybrid technology, the mechanical design of a Nema 14/23 motor was optimized in such a way that the motor can be produced thinner with special production tools, while the torque was increased and heat dissipation was reduced. Moons' new 'encapsulation technology' has further contributed to creating more space for the bearings, allowing us to handle greater loads on the shaft. All benefits at a glance:

  • Higher torque (up to 23% more)
  • Higher efficiency, resulting in lower temperatures
  • Lower vibration and more accurate positioning
  • Longer lifespan due to larger diameter bearings
  • Various sizes: nema 14/23
  • Thickness 12.8mm

These advantages are interesting for feeder systems within the semiconductor market, among others. But other applications where space is limited are also interesting for this advanced technology.
