The new Megger DLRO2 is a compact and robust instrument for testing connections. With a test current of maximum 2A, the electrical resistance of a connection is measured with a resolution of 1 micro-Ohm.

The device is suitable for various applications such as generators, electric motors, switches, relays, bus bars and earth connections, but also the aircraft industry and sustainable energy (wind turbines).

The DLRO2 is equipped with a special induction measuring mode for measuring motors. In this test, the current is set to 1 A to accelerate charging and the test stops automatically when the measured value has stabilized. To make it easy to compare measured values, the DLRO2 is equipped with a differential function. This shows the percentage difference with the previous measurement both numerically and graphically at the top of the display. When measuring 3-phase objects, it is possible to keep the last three measured values in view. It is possible to start the test automatically as soon as the measuring probes make good contact. This means that the test button does not have to be pressed, leaving both hands free.

The Megger DLRO2 is equipped with a special function for measuring with longer measuring leads (>100m). This is useful, for example, when testing the earthing of the blades of wind turbines. With its handy size, weight of only 905 grams and protection class IP54 (dust and splash-proof), this instrument is very versatile.
