FHI member profile adjusted and improved after feedback round
The opinion of members is extremely important to FHI. That is why it is free member profile adjusted to better meet the needs of the users. Since this year, the possibilities of this service have been expanded and after a feedback round, the profile has been further improved. For example, a call-to-action button has been added, so that visitors can go to the company website of the members more quickly. In short: fhi.nl is now even easier to use and an extremely effective means to end up high in search engines.
The member profile, free of charge for every FHI member, is intended to increase the online visibility of the affiliated companies. Because FHI scores well in Google's rankings, members benefit from this. By filling in their own company page on the website of the trade association as completely as possible, visitors who want to know more about a specific company will end up on the website of the company in question more quickly. By now, approximately forty percent of all members of Industrial Electronics have filled in their profile.
The member profile scores well in terms of user-friendliness and ease of use, as shown by a general survey among users. However, this survey also revealed a number of points for improvement. This feedback has now been processed, resulting in an improved profile. For example, the product categories on the profile pages have been adjusted. There is no longer a drop-down menu. Another adjustment is the addition of a call-to-action button. By clicking this button, the user is taken directly to the company website of the FHI member.
Post content at your own discretion
From now on, it is also immediately visible who posted the content on the members page. The name of the editor is prominently displayed, which is useful for searches. Another adjustment is the possibility to use a maximum of 10,000 punctuation marks for the extended member profile. Posting longer content is now also possible. At the request of users, it has also been implemented that posting content by date is now possible. Users can schedule news items as they see fit.
Content Service
Completing the member profile is quick and easy. However, not every FHI member has the time or manpower to do this. FHI is well aware of this. The trade association offers help in the form of the content service. This service has been a fact since the beginning of this year.
