With the Megger MFT-X1, EURO-INDEX presents the first of a new generation of installation testers for testing low-voltage installations during commissioning, periodic inspection and making a detailed diagnosis in the event of faults.
The device offers extensive functionality and the ability to customize features and even add new functionality via firmware upgrades. These upgrades can be downloaded and applied to the instrument by the user. The MFT-X1 is particularly easy to operate with 2 rotary knobs and a large TFT color display with high contrast. Use the color-coded dial to select the desired function. The color of this function is also shown as the background in the display. The functionality of the 5 buttons at the top of the display depends on the selected test function and is clearly displayed. Use the right rotary knob to select the desired measuring ranges or test options. The instrument provides help functions with connection diagrams for each measurement.
The MFT-X1 is equipped with, among other things, a test function for 6 mA earth leakage circuit breakers, making the device suitable for testing the electrical safety and functionality of charging points for electric vehicles in combination with the optional Megger EVCA210 test adapter. The instrument offers unique features that make testing faster, more reliable and even more accurate, including configurable GFCI testing, True Loop measurement technology and the patented Confidence Meter. With CertSuite, Megger offers a convenient and secure software solution for creating, printing and storing professional certificates and measurement reports. This software is “cloud based” and available as an Android and iOS app for smartphones and tablets and can also be used via a browser on a laptop or desktop PC.
