Megger introduces the EVCA210, a test adapter for testing charging points of electric vehicles. With the built-in PP and CP simulation, the voltage can be switched on and off and it is possible to check whether the charging station responds correctly. With the built-in WCD it is also possible to connect a load to the system so that it can be tested under load.
A necessary test at charging points is the 6 mA earth leakage circuit breaker test. It is therefore important to use the adapter in combination with an installation tester that offers this specific function. Megger has introduced the MFT1845+ especially for this purpose, which together with the EVCA210 forms the ideal test solution. The MFT1845+ naturally also offers extensive functionality for testing electrical installations according to NEN1010, NEN3140 and SCIOS scope 8.
