The EE895 is the ideal measuring module for sensors and transmitters used in “Demand Controlled Ventilation”, building automation and process control.
Due to its low energy consumption, the module can also be used in devices that are powered by batteries, such as hand meters, data loggers and wireless transmitters.
CO2 measures performance.
The CO2 measurement is based on the so-called “Dual Wavelength NDIR principle and compensates itself against aging effects, is also resistant to pollution and offers excellent low-term stability.
The factory calibration at multiple CO2 and temperature measuring points leads to an excellent CO2 measurement for a module of this size.
In addition, the on-board temperature and barometric pressure sensor provide compensation for the conditions in which the sensor is applied.
In this way the measurement is always compensated for height, pressure and temperature differences.
Digital interfaces.
The measured CO2, Temperature and Pressure values are available via I2C or the UART digital interfaces.
Configure.
The EE895 can be configured via the digital interface. The CO2 measurement interval can be adjusted depending on application and desired energy use.
