During the VSK in February, the public was introduced to EURO-INDEX's new Mobile Service for the first time. The beautiful spacious van is equipped with all facilities necessary for maintenance, repair and calibration of the most commonly used measuring instruments.
An exact copy of our extensive calibration laboratory was of course not possible due to limited space, but we were able to come close. The vehicle is equipped with two fully equipped workplaces for our expert technicians. These workplaces are equipped with all relevant tools and various calibrators for gas analysis, gas detection, pressure, temperature and electrical quantities. A climate installation ensures that the temperature in the mobile laboratory remains within the limits set by the manufacturers under almost all circumstances to carry out reliable calibrations. All information about the instruments and procedures, as well as the calibration history of your measuring instruments, are directly available to our technicians, through a constant connection to the server at our head office. This means we can provide most measuring instruments with a complete KWS treatment on site, including preventive maintenance, repair (if necessary), pre-calibration, adjustment and post-calibration.
Because the work can be done on location, a lot of time can be saved on logistics. The design of the Mobile Service is currently being finalized, so we will be operational in the short term.
