The new APEM XD series RT handgrip has both front and rear facing face plates that can be configured according to the
the user's requirements. The forward-facing face plate can be configured with up to six IX Series pushbuttons
and two rollers from the HR series. Both face plates can also be adjusted to customer specifications.
Since the European Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC came into force, vehicle manufacturers must also comply with the IEC 62061 and ISO 13849 standards to ensure functional safety. The RT handgrip joystick is Sil1 or Sil2 compatible, depending on the components specified.
