HELUKABEL markets special cables with DVGW (German Gas and Water Association) approval for permanent use in water Resistant to drinking, sea and salt water up to a depth of 600 meters Many industries need a stable underwater power supply that is distributed via water-resistant cables: for example for submersible pumps, sensors, heating or drive motors.

With HELUPOWER AQUATIC-750-BLUE, HELUKABEL now offers a cable in stock that is resistant to drinking, sea and salt water according to DVGW standard W 270 (image 1). The cable is also 100 percent resistant to moisture diffusion and can therefore be used at depths of up to 600 meters and can be exposed to an external pressure of 60 bar. The mechanically robust blue sheath is made of a cross-linked PVC elastomer. The cable is approved for a nominal voltage of 450/750 Volt.

Areas of application include the food and biotech industry, water recycling/cleaning or wastewater treatment plants, aqua farms, recreational parks and waffle production. Permanently tight The resilient cable is resistant to chlorine levels up to 0.6 mg/l and seawater with a salinity of up to 3.5 percent. This means that it is suitable for use in different types of water, which reduces the number of different cables required and therefore simplifies storage. Cable cross-sections vary from 1 to 2.5 mm2. In fixed installations, this cable can be used at ambient temperatures from -40 to +80 degrees Celsius. When installed in the open air, ambient temperatures in the range of -25 to +50 degrees Celsius should be maintained. The maximum operating temperature at the conductor is 90 degrees Celsius.
