New flyer “HELUKABEL Cable clamps”

Safe cable installation with HELUKABEL cable clamps – short-circuit-proof, resistant and standard-compliant.

For medium voltage cables used in wind farms, manufacturing or commercial buildings, it is extremely important that they are installed short-circuit-proof. In the event of a short circuit, extreme electromagnetic forces can occur, causing unprotected cables to suddenly move or even become loose from their attachments. This can cause serious damage to the system and even be life-threatening.

HELUKABEL has a wide range of cable clamps in its portfolio that are specially designed to prevent this. They have been developed for the installation of single- or multi-core power cables as well as medium and high-voltage cables and, depending on the construction, offer a short-circuit resistance of up to 30,000 N. These clamps can withstand short-circuit currents of up to 200 kA and are also resistant to oil and grease, aggressive chemicals, ozone, salts, acids, nuclear radiation and frost. They therefore guarantee that cable and wire installations are durable, safe and in accordance with the international safety standards IEC 61914 & UL.
