New industrial RFID readers offer higher reading performance and greater security
iDTRONIC has leveraged its expertise from the discontinued BlueBox series to develop a new line of industrial UHF RFID readers. As before, the RFLINE series consists of various readers, either with an integrated antenna connection or with one or more external antenna connections.
All readers are equipped with a state-of-the-art Impinj RFID chipset, which offers a better read rate (number of tags per second) and an increased RF output power of 30-33dBm compared to the previous 27dBm. The security level has also been enhanced for secure applications, allowing for the secure logging and management of authentication or identification data.
The RFLINE enclosure is IP67 rated and equipped with industrial M12 connectors, ensuring reliable and waterproof connections. Various connection options are available upon request, including RS232, TCP/IP (PoE), CAN-Bus with the SAEJ1939 protocol, and industry standards like PROFIBUS and PROFINET. An SDK is available in advance for this new series of UHF RFID readers.
