New IO-Link device I/O boxes
With the two new IO-Link device I/O boxes AXL E IOL DI16 M12 6M and AXL E IOL DIO8/8 M12 6M, Phoenix Contact is expanding the range of the new IO-Link generation Axioline E for control cabinet-free automation with devices for digital signal processing.
With increased protection class IP65/67/69 and a fully die-cast zinc housing, the new I/O generation Axioline E is designed for direct use in a machine under very harsh environmental conditions. An extended temperature range as well as high resistance to external influences enable use in many different applications. All devices allow flexible connection in the field with proven M12 screw connectors or the new M12 PUSH-PULL quick connection technology.
IO-Link technology offers globally standardized, uniform communication from the control system to the sensor/actuator level. An IO-Link system consists of an IO-Link master and an IO-Link device and can be integrated into all standard fieldbus and automation systems. IO-Link provides access to process data, diagnostic data and device information as well as device parameters of the IO-Link devices. The installation concept between an IO-Link master and an IO-Link device is based on a simple unshielded 3-core standard cable.
