General membership meeting 2020
The General Members Meeting of the EMVT association will take place on Wednesday, November 25, 2020. The meeting is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

We are in discussions with the HAN to see whether the AGM can take place there, but due to the COVID 19 situation, we cannot yet provide a definitive answer. We will keep you informed.

EMVT Knowledge Day
The EMVT Knowledge Day will take place for the first time on Thursday, November 5, 2020. Due to the corona measures, this event will be held in digital form.

Visitor recruitment has officially started today! During the EMVT knowledge day, users and developers in the field of power electronics and electromagnetism share their knowledge with fellow professionals and end users.

On this day, visitors are updated on current themes through technical and interactive webinars from exhibitors and plenary speakers. On Thursday, November 5, knowledge will be shared on the theme: Electric transport, electricity versus hydrogen as an energy carrier.

The first plenary speaker has been announced: Arjan Wargers from E-Laad.

Connectr – energy innovation lab
The Connectr is being built in Arnhem. The Connectr is a place where entrepreneurs, researchers, students and policy makers unite to give ideas and innovations in the sustainable energy sector a major push. As a company, educational institution, consultancy or research agency, it is possible to participate in this multi-year innovation program.

The innovation program focuses on energy areas such as hydrogen, smart grids and clean mobility. Work together with companies from the entire chain!

PROMOTioN presents final project results
After 4.5 years of research, PROMOTioN has published the final project results via the online final piece: 'North Sea Grid For The European Green Deal'.

'North Sea Grid for the European Green Deal: How to unlock Europe's Offshore Wind potential – a deployment plan for a meshed HVDC grid', marks the culmination of more than four years of practice-oriented research and large-scale technology demonstrations on integrated offshore HVDC transmission grids by 34 international project partners representing the entire industry value chain.

PROMOTioN presents the final project results of the EU research project: Technologies for a meshed HVDC offshore wind transmission grid in Europe are ready for use – political will and action at all stakeholder levels is now needed.
