Produced in two advanced factories Apex Dynamics both gearboxes and racks and pinions. The Taiwan company applies strict principles related to large quantities, high quality and a long lifespan. As a result, they run well, even in bad times - such as now with the corona crisis. Drive Technology entered into discussions with Thom van Oss about high-tech production, extending the lifespan of gears, reducing maintenance requirements and the use of special software.
In the Netherlands it is hardly possible, but in Taiwan they simply do it: build factories where 50,000 gearboxes are produced and sold per month. As far as Apex Dynamics is concerned, it is the only way to survive in a highly competitive world. Thom van Oss: “When you make a lot of the same thing, you can make relatively large investments in the quality of your product and then produce it at a reasonable price. This has always been Apex Dynamics' approach and it is working: a third factory will be opened this year, increasing production capacity from 50,000 to 80,000 gearboxes per month. We continue to be impressed by the approach that the Taiwanese factory uses. I sometimes visit these factories with customers and without exception everyone marvels at the high-tech machines that produce at a breakneck pace with almost German or Japanese precision. At first you can hardly believe that this is in the Far East.”
