The most common solution to prevent condensation in equipment is to increase the dew point through internal heating. Sometimes this solution is not sufficient because there is too much water or because heating up the equipment is not desirable.
Seifert Systems has the TG-3039, a Peltier-based dehumidifier that actually removes and drains moisture. The peltier is the coldest place within the application, so the moisture condenses there. The excess moisture can be drained passively with a tube or actively with an optional integrated pump.
This 24Vdc dehumidifier can drain approximately 0.5 liters of water per day, is itself IP56 and can be used from 0 - 65°C. The TG-3039 measures 176 x 136mm and the depth is 72mm without and 133mm with pump.
Typical applications are outdoor telecom cabinets. Traffic control systems, charging stations, etc.
