Government offers employers support in setting up a corona test street

The Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, together with VNO/NCW and MKB-Nederland, has set up a toolkit for companies that want to set up their own corona test street. The government is also introducing a financial scheme to enable corona tests by company doctors and occupational health services.

The scheme and the associated website employertests.nl are mainly intended for companies and organizations where working from home is not an option. The primary goal is to increase safety in the workplace and prevent further spread of COVID-10. With more frequent testing, the organizations and the government hope that it will be possible to go to work (partly) again in the future.

Employers interested in setting up and having tests carried out may qualify for a financial arrangement from VWS. Since December, they have also been able to purchase rapid tests based on antigen tests from the government.
