Widely applicable, but narrow in design. The successful 3000 series from PR electronics has been expanded with a programmable f ->I/U converter.

This unit is suitable for converting a wide variety of pulse signals to a standard analog value (3225A: mA or V) or to function as a trip amplifier (3225B: relay contact). The 3225 is ideal for speed monitoring applications and converting (flow) pulses to an analog value. In addition to reading the standard measured values, it is also possible to set a trigger level for a minimum or maximum voltage value. The most important features at a glance:

  • Input: NAMUR, NPN, PNP, Tacho, TTL or S0
  • Two output options – 3225A: mA/V, 3225B: Alarm relay
  • Programmable input and output range: 0.001 Hz – 100 kHz
  • accuracy < 0.06% / span
  • Response time < 30 ms
  • NAMUR NE21, NE43 Sensor fault detection
  • 2.5 kVAC, 3-way galvanic isolation

To quickly set up the unit, it is equipped with DIP switches on the side. For a more detailed configuration, the PR 4590 ConfigMate and a 4500 series display is the ideal tool. This also allows configurations to be copied and saved. And monitoring and simulation functions are available for commissioning.

Due to the excellent EMC properties and the standard 5-year manufacturer's warranty, you can rely on problem-free use of PR electronics products.
