To this end, the Dutch Building Commissioning Association (DBCA) has taken the initiative to create a recognized register for the positions of Commissioning Specialist, Manager and Authority. The registration is carried out by Sertum. The various stakeholders will regularly transfer knowledge to all directly involved (partners and commissioning specialists). The parties in the built environment are also offered a broader opportunity once a year to start using the qualities of commissioning in their organization. Being directly involved in DBCA offers powerful advantages in your own work.

Successful completion of the registration is required for inclusion in the Commissioning Specialist register TVVL Commissioning Specialist exam. Participants in the Commissioning Specialist course who successfully complete the exam will automatically be included in this new register for 1 year. There is also a follow-up course, Commissioning Manager, that follows on from this.
