VNO-NCW and MKB-Nederland: 'Get started and implement now'

Working must become more rewarding, the regulatory burden is being tackled and there will be no new general tax increases for entrepreneurs. The first Budget Memorandum of the Schoof cabinet meets the concerns of companies in a number of areas, conclude VNO-NCW and MKB-Nederland. Negative points include the VAT increase for accommodation, sports and culture that will hurt. In addition, the business organisations lack an eye for the long-term earning capacity of our country. The cuts in knowledge, innovation and education, among other things, are undesirable in this context. They are also concerned about the Dutch attitude towards Brussels. VNO-NCW and MKB-Nederland once again emphasise the importance of stability and predictability of policy. 'Get to work now and implement', according to Ingrid Thijssen and Jacco Vonhof.
