Signal cables installed in parallel with high-voltage cables cause an unreliable interface with standard relays, especially over long distances.

Capacitive operation ensures that relays and opto-couplers are undesirably energized, or remain undesirably energized after switching off the control voltage. These undesirable effects also occur in installations where frequency controllers are used. The relays themselves and your installation can be damaged, which entails unwanted downtime and unforeseen costs.

Delcon relay are equipped with a built-in capacitive suppressor, which suppresses the capacitive effect and its unwanted effects. This means you can switch without any problems with Delcon relays, even over long distances. The internal RC circuit provides protection against interference from high frequencies.
