Industry producer confidence rises again in October

Producer confidence in industry increased again in October. In November, the figure was 7.2. In October, the index was 5.9. Confidence also increased in the electrical and machinery sector from 10 to 10.2.

The number of entrepreneurs who expect their production to increase in the coming three months is greater than the number who expect a decrease. Furthermore, the number of entrepreneurs who consider the stock of finished product to be too small is greater than the number who consider the stocks to be too large.

Production has also increased. In September, production was 2.9 percent higher than the same period a year ago. The production of the metal industry grew the most in September 2018.
