In June, the average daily production of Dutch industry was 3.4 percent higher than in June 2017. Production in the electrical equipment industry grew the most.
That reports CBS. The increase in daily production is higher than in May. Moreover, Dutch industry has been able to produce more for three years in a row than in the comparable period a year earlier.
The electrical equipment industry produced almost 14 percent more products in June than in June 2017. The production of the pharmaceutical and food industries also grew more strongly than average. The average was a growth of 3.4 percent, with only production in the chemical industry declining.
According to Statistics Netherlands, the mood among producers in July is slightly less positive than in June. This was also the case the month before.
