Electrical and electronics industry production rises in May
FHI, Federation of Technology Industries – July 10, 2019
In May, the average daily production in Dutch industry was 1.8 percent lower than in May 2018. However, production in the electrical and electronics industry grew strongly.
That reports CBS. The figures on average daily production show that the production of the electrical and electronic industry showed a considerable growth of almost 8 percent compared to the same period a year ago. The machine industry saw the production decrease the most with a figure of -10 percent.
In addition to the decline in industrial production, producer confidence has also declined. In June, it reached its lowest level in almost three years. Entrepreneurs are particularly negative about the expected business activity.
