During the annual PROFI Day, approximately 180 end users from mechanical engineering, plant management and the process industry learn about the latest developments within PROFIBUS, PROFINET and IO-Link. They also exchange visions and experiences with colleagues.
Using concrete examples, various speakers provide an overview of concrete challenges and solutions. Industry 4.0, TSN, OPC UA, lightning protection, commissioning & troubleshooting, network construction in accordance with the guideline, decentralized drive technology, smart factory, cloud, wireless applications and safety are themes that will return at the PROFI Day
The closing plenary lecture will be given by Vanderlande; supplier of transport systems for internal logistics. They use, among other things, Ethernet and PROFINET as fieldbus communication. In the presentation they provide insight into the challenges that arise when scaling up.
